Singapore Blue Tarantula/Cyriopagopus sp
Genus: Cyriopagopus sp.
This is one tarantula to be added in your collection. Few years ago, this one is considered as an expensive specie in the hobby.Can be found in Asia particularly Singapore. Sometimes called as Singapore Violet. This Tarantula can grow from 7 to 10 inches. Females can live up to 10 years while males can live less.

About the Scientific name, I dont know if its just the same to what they called as Lampropelma violaciopes, since I's asked about this in other foreign forum if they're just the same, and they told me its different. so as of now, i'll just stick to its old sciname.

This tarantula is considered as arboreal specie. So, in housing this tarantula, height of your enclosure is important. Spiderlings can live in small container with lots of air holes while adults can live in 10 gallon tanks or bigger. Barks, hollow logs should also be provided to allow your T to climb and build webs. Also, provide some moss in your enclosure to help your substrate in holding the moisture. This tarantula requires, a bit of high humidity and ventilation. Water dish should be provided. I rehouse my tarantulas every 2 months..
Since this tarantula is not ideal for beginners due to its speed and aggressive temperament, handling of this specie is not recommended. Also this tarantula is a jumper. Handling pictures and videos being shown are done by experienced hobbyists.

As its main diet, i feed her, lateralis and dubia 1's every 2 days for proper diet..
