how i got started
i started december of 2007, with my brother buying a rosea and a h. longimanus.. na suya ko so i bought my first tarantula..G. rosea, then mine died beacause the enclosure fell, but my brother didnt want to take care of his.. so i was happy to take care of it.. then i bought a b. smithi, b.fireleg and a geniculata.. then i just cant control nga i want more pajud..hehe.. maka adik jud..my first scorp was a h. longimanus.
Im working in ZUBU design associates now.. then ako sweldo drtso jud na sa inverts..hehehe,i dont know.. pero i fend them fascinating and it relaxes me to see them.. there like my heroine's.. people find it very weird.. but i love being weird and different..
on joining CEBU ARACHNIDA SOCIETY
Ribnum and emigz were the ones who introduced me to CAS.. tbhe first time i joined the meeting, abi nko nawala ko, kay wa may ga meeting dnhi puros mani ga inom..hehehe.. then i asked bim2 nga mao ni ang CAS??hahaha..na lignaw lang ko kay tagay diay..hahaha.. everybody was welcoming jud.. mura jud ug brotherhood sa ako nakita.. then karon the bonds got stronger. im a proud memeber of CAS.. long live.. hehehe.
SET-UP
My set-ups are simple.. basic needs, substrates(coco peat or sand) then a water dish, bark then a hide. misting depends on teh specie some 5 times a week some 3 times.. for the dessert 1 time for every 10 days.
FEEDING
i feed them 3 to 4 times a week.. pero sa mga gagmay 5 times a week para fast ang growth..hehe, but karon 2-3 tiems a week nalang kay sobra ka busy.. i just mist them.
on an invert dying
" i believe they are in a better place now, kinuha ni lord"
some people ask me dili ba daw sayang sa kwarta???
uhmmmm di jud kay i am very happy with them, buot sila..ila na sweldo??haha
